Michael Canfield DVM
DR. Michael Canfield

DVM, DACVD Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist®️

Dr. Michael Canfield is a southern Mississippi native. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Canfield was an electrician for Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, MS where he was proud to assist in building several United States Navy ships. Dr. Canfield began his undergraduate studies at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and subsequently transferred to Mississippi State University to complete his undergraduate studies prior to entering Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Canfield graduated from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and entered the profession as an eager small animal clinician. Dr. Canfield’s interests in dermatology flourished, ultimately leading him to accept an American College of Veterinary Dermatology approved dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic located in Tustin, California. Following three years of intense training, Dr. Canfield completed his residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. Dr. Canfield enjoys dermatology, including allergic skin diseases, ear diseases, and endocrinopathies (hormone-related diseases). Additionally, Dr. Canfield enjoys traditional surgery, cryosurgery, laser surgery, and internal medicine. Dr. Canfield looks forward to serving you and your pet. Dr. Canfield has provided continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians locally and nationally. Dr. Canfield seizes every opportunity to teach.

Dr. Bridgette Sampeck
DR. Bridgette Sampeck
DVM, Dermatology Resident

Dr. Bridgette Sampeck was born in Dallas, Texas. She has always had a love for veterinary medicine and got her first job in a veterinary clinic in 2003. In 2004, she obtained Veterinary Assistant certification from the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. She began her undergraduate education at Collin County Community College, then attended a semester of Business school at the University of Texas Dallas campus. She went on to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri Kansas City before entering into veterinary school at Kansas State University. Dr. Sampeck worked as a veterinary technician and hospital manager in small animal general practice for 10 years. She then worked as a veterinary dermatology nurse and a emergency and critical care nurse for 2 years before entering veterinary school. Dr. Sampeck has interests in small animal dermatology, emergency medicine, dentistry, and ophthalmology. She is passionate about maintaining the bond we all have with our pets, and improving their quality of life. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling and spoiling her elderly miniature dachshund. Her favorite travel destination so far is New Zealand. She looks forward to caring for you and your pet.

Dr. Adriana colon
Dr. Adriana Colón
DVM, Dermatology Resident

Dr. Adriana Colón was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in spanish. Dr. Colón graduated from Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine and then finished a rotating internship at Blue Pearl in Tampa. After finishing her internship she worked in general practice for 8 years in Tampa. Dr. Colón has an interest in dermatology, surgery and improving the quality of life of her patients. She loves traveling and spending time with her husband, family and her crazy long-haired dachshund. Dr. Colón can not wait to care for you and your pets.

Dr. Peter Mohoric
Dr. Peter Mohoric

DACVO Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist

Dr. Peter Mohoric grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During High School, Dr. Mohoric came to realize he wanted to pursue veterinary medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. and attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 2007. He completed a general internship and an ophthalmology internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists (BluePearl Veterinary Partners), followed by a 3-year residency in Ophthalmology with Eye Care for Animals in Chicago, IL. He received his board certification in ophthalmology in 2012. He continued to work with Eye Care for Animals for 2 years in the Washington, D.C. area, before coming back to Tampa, remaining with Eye Care for Animals for 8 years. Dr. Mohoric enjoys teaching, and has previously trained residents. Dr. Mohoric also enjoys all aspects of ophthalmology, especially microsurgery and laser treatment of ophthalmic diseases. He also enjoys management of glaucoma, cataracts, and uveitis. In his spare time, Dr. Mohoric enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and is learning to ride horses.

Timberly Canfield
Timberly Canfield

Practice Manager

Timberly is a Southern Mississippi native. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy. She received her certification in Respiratory Therapy at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She continued to serve patients as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in Mobile, Alabama and North Mississippi. Timberly relocated to Florida in 1999 assuming the duties as practice manager for the Animal Hospital of Regency Park and more recently for Animal Dermatology South. Timberly is the glue that holds the team together. She enjoys cross-stitching, scuba diving, and baking when she is not busy with her three children.

Tonya Clark
Tonya Clark

Senior Customer Care Coordinator

Tonya was born in Pasco county and has lived here ever since. Tonya has attended Pasco-Hernando Community College and has taken classes such as marine biology and oceanography as prerequisites to for the Veterinary Technology program at St. Petersburg College. Tonya serves as a valuable member of the AHRP team as the senior customer care coordinator who strives to provide the greatest experience possible for clients of the Animal Hospital of Regency Park. She also enjoys boating, fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Anabelle Montalvo

Veterinary Assistant, Receptionist

Anabelle was born and raised in New Port Richey, Florida. In the fall of 2020 she joined the AHRP team and soon realized that her career interest was in veterinary medicine. In the summer of 2023, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida with the goal to attend Veterinary school to become board certified animal surgeon and physical therapist. When she is not working, she enjoys scuba diving with her fiancé and spending time with family and pets.

Nikki Smith
Nikki Smith

CVT Customer Care Coordinator/ Technician

Nikki was born in Queens, New York but grew up here in New Port Richey, Florida. In the summer of 2011, Nikki graduated with honors from St. Petersburg College with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. In November of 2011, Nikki began working with Dr. Canfield as a dermatology technician at BluePearl Veterinary Partners. She is a certified veterinary technician working toward specialty certification in dermatology. Her interests in the veterinary field include but are not limited to behavior, nutrition, and exotic animal husbandry. Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband Marty and their canine, feline, and exotic pets. Her other hobbies and interests include: drawing, photography, interior design, and the great outdoors.

Todd Bress
Todd Bress

Veterinary Assistant

Todd was born in Woburn, Massachusetts and grew up in Upstate New York, Arizona, and Southeastern Florida. Todd served proudly with the 1st Calvary Division in the United States Army. During his military career, Todd was deployed in Europe, Panama, and the Persian Gulf during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Following the completion of his tour of service, Todd attended Palm Beach Community College where he earned his Associates degree in Education in 1996. Todd was then accepted to the Exceptional Education program at the University of Central Florida. Todd relocated to the Port Richey area in 2003 and joined the AHRP team as a Veterinary Assistant. Todd’s special interests in veterinary medicine include radiology, surgery and nutrition. Todd enjoys the outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family.
